Rats love to nest, and fleece is the perfect warm and soft material that makes fantastic nests. Sadly this makes your life with rats expensive if you must keep replacing those liners. By using the strips. And not spraying that with no chew spray, the rats are more happy to chew that. Than your liners.  Rats can be trained to not chew liners.
